BarCamp

Saturday, August 13th, 2005

You may have heard of FooCamp, O’Reily media’s invite-only weekend long geek-fest

Introducing BarCamp – like FooCamp, minus the invite-only-ness.

Update: We have a location.

Supr.c.ilio.us is a little project Eran and I have been working on on and off for a couple of months (ok, we thought about it for a couple months then built it in a weekend). We first announced it at Tag Tuesday, but I figured I’d announce it here.

What is Supr.c.ilio.us?

I’m glad you asked.

Supr.c.ilio.us is the world’s first social social tagging site tagging site. That’s right, there’s so many tagonomic sites out there that we need a tagging site to keep track of them (we could have built an ontology of tagging sites, but that’d get us boo-ed off the stage, so to speak :))

Anyway, go take a look at it and tag some tagging sites. And remember that its technically in ‘pre-alpha,’ which means it probably won’t work.
