Google Maps and Keyhole

Monday, April 4th, 2005

A ha. Google’s purchase of Keyhole makes sense now. They’ve integrated Keyhole’s satellite imagery into Google Maps.

For example, check out Kansas City and my flat. [*From Google Blog*]

Update: The satellite imagery is worldwide, so you can zoom out and scroll all the way around the world.

Become a MacroPatron

Saturday, April 2nd, 2005

Jason Koettke has a system of MicroPatrons who contribute to his blog. I have a better opportunity for you- Hire me!

My plan A for this summer’s work has not materialized. (I’d applied for YCombinator‘s Summer Founder’s Program). So, I’m looking for work for this summer.

You can view my resume here, but I’ll give some highlights- I’m mostly a webdeveloper and I’m really intersted in New Media kind of projects. Most of my experience is with the LAMP stack (PHP, especially), but I always willingly to learn new technologies.

I’d like to work for someone in the Bay Area, but I’m open to other opportunities. However, for opportunities in the Bay area, I would possibly be able to continue working even after I go back to school in the fall (at USF).

If you have, or know of any opportunities, email me.
