Markup Styles

Friday, February 18th, 2005

Along with the new design, I’m installing some WP plugins, to try to improve things around here. The first one I’m trying out is called Markdown and it allows me to use a markup style simpler than HTML to write my posts. This is very nice, but frankly, I’m sick of learning new markup styles. Improved Google Similar Bookmarlet

Friday, February 18th, 2005

Google Similar

The improvement is that it no longer opens the google search in a new window. I’m not sure why I did that in the first place- I had links that open in a new window without my permission. :-)

I find it interesting that the most popular men are of several nationalities (Irish and British for the ones I recognize), whereas the most popular women are all Americans. Hmm.
