I bought Robbie Williams from itunes and thought about the cool factor with it.

But I missed the tangible feel of the CD, as well. Plus, my father recently got a CD player so I am buying classical music for him, burning it on my computer for myself and then sending him the CDs. We both benefit that way.

dood. i am totally with you on the physical media front...while over the past two or three years my actual cd-in-gem-case spending has decreased, i still relish in the music-geek accomplishment of having hundreds of cds vs. thousands of mp3s. (okay, so i have both. whatevs.) plus, i get alot of discs for free b/c of my job. that helps. :)

and nothing can compare to the satisfaction of opening up a gem case & pouring over the booklet. am i right or am i right, or am i right....haha.
