Malcolm Gladwell’s latest New Yorker piece is brilliant.

In it, he gives a detailed explanation of why the US resists universal health care. In essence, it comes down to Moral Hazard arguments.

This issue is hitting home to me right now, because I’m sick right now and because of my insurance situation, I can’t really do anything about my sickness until Monday. Suck.
