I’ve learned a lot in the short period of time that I’ve been working at Technorati, especially while trying to facilitate work around microformats.org. Perhaps the most important thing I’ve learned is “invention is hard.”

As we trying to develop microformats, it isn’t hard to make stuff up, but it is very hard to create something which people can, will and want to use.

And BTW, like Shelley, I’ll probably drop support for all but one syndication format sometime soon, though WordPress supports more than one format.

Robert Scoble (of Microsoft) says no.

Meanwhile, this site has gotten 5,731 hits from msnbot in the last 5 days, effectively doubling the number of hits this site receives.

Scoble, do you have an explanation? At the very least, please pass my complaint along to the msn search team.

Andy and Chris informed me last night that I only blog about things I don’t like, making this a rather negative blog.

I’ll see if I can find something I like to write about.
