MacOSX 10.3.9 breaks java?

I just installed Mac OSX 10.3.9 and it appears to have broken my java- I’m getting segfaults anytime I try to compile anything. I wonder if anyone else has encountered this problem.

    Yeah, I had that problem too. Reinstalling security update 2005-002 (which was mainly java fixes) has fixed everything.

    I ended up going back and reinstalling the Java 1.4.1 update. Of course, I had to convince the installer that it was ok to reinstall, even though a new version was installed.
