Bluetooth virtual keyboard.
Via Scoble, I just found this.
It’s a review for a new device that projects a virtual keyboard onto any flat surface. And it connects to devices by Bluetooth.
OMG! This is way too cool. Of course, I’d now love to see Apple build a Tablet with one of these doo-hickies build in (and a stand build in). That way you can just be using your Tablet, then set it down on a desk and start typing away on the desk.
Unfortunately, this device is quite expensive, but I imagine the price will start dropping quickly once its been on the market and once it has competition.

Eh, while the device is nice and flashy, I don’t think it’s very practivle. It doesn’t give any tactile feedback, which is also a big plus for keyboards. I suppose the compactness and portableness of it is an advantage, but I’m not impressed yet. Also, without the tactile feel of individual keys, you actually may have to keep looking down to make sure your fingers have not drifted onto different keys!…

Yeah, there’s definitely some drawbacks to it, but I would love to try one first, before I decided that it was impractical.
