I’ve talked about this a couple times.

I think we’re all just going to have to get over the fact that there is no longer a corelation between phone number and location. I can’t imagine how many database schemas will have to be updated to do this, however.

Via Scoble, I just found this.

It’s a review for a new device that projects a virtual keyboard onto any flat surface. And it connects to devices by Bluetooth.

OMG! This is way too cool. Of course, I’d now love to see Apple build a Tablet with one of these doo-hickies build in (and a stand build in). That way you can just be using your Tablet, then set it down on a desk and start typing away on the desk.

Unfortunately, this device is quite expensive, but I imagine the price will start dropping quickly once its been on the market and once it has competition.

So, last night I went to the first session of the second course I’m taking. This one’s on Computer Security, a topic that I really know nothing about, but that I feel I should know well.

To be honest, the class scares me. Here’s the first line of the syllabus:

This is a difficult, time-consuming course.

Ok, I knew that grad school was going to be a challenge, but when a Eastern European[1] with advanced degrees is telling me that is something is going to be hard, I’m inclined to believe him.

I think he’s Eastern European based on his accent, but I may be wrong. I can’t seem to find his bio or credentials online anywhere
