I’m done with college. Here are some pictures of me burning some old tests and papers.

This is why I hate being associated with Southern Baptists.

How paranoid can we be? Is this guy seriously saying that to make US schools worse, to the point of causing them to collapse is going to make the world a better place?

I hope to God that people can be more sane than this. I’m not opposed to home schooling, but I think there’s a lot of value in the public school system and that we can’t just run and hide when people present a challenge to us. Ideas like this are, I think born out of fear and that disgusts me.

OBU day in the churches

obu day

Even though wasn’t planning on it, I did OBU Day in the Churches today. The last couple of years I’ve preached, but decided that I didn’t have time to do that this year. However, my good friend Rachael (check her blog out) was going to sing at a church and decided that she would like to have someone play guitar for her (instead of singing to a track, which turned out to be a good decision, b/c the church didn’t really have a sound system…but, I digress…). So, for some reason, she decided I was good enough to play for her (which, I’m not) and we went to Hazel Dell Baptist church, which is somewhere near Minco, OK.

I have to say it was one of the funnest times I’ve had in a while. We at a Pablano’s on the way back, which meant more good times.

Rachael– you rock and I love to hear you sing.
